Global History Regents Tutoring

Final Projects or Artifacts:

Students will develop a Global History Regents Review Portfolio, including a timeline of significant historical events, practice essays with teacher feedback, and an annotated set of primary source documents. This portfolio will serve as a comprehensive study tool and demonstrate their readiness for the exam.

Program Requirements:

  • No Tech
  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • Subject specific study guide
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)
  • Subject Specific Curriculum Materials (ex: student homework or textbook/worksheets)

Program Description:

This course is designed to prepare students for the Global History and Geography Regents exam by reviewing major historical themes, events, and concepts from ancient civilizations to modern times. Students will analyze primary and secondary sources, practice essay writing for thematic and document-based questions (DBQs), and strengthen their critical thinking skills. The course emphasizes understanding cause-and-effect relationships, evaluating historical evidence, and connecting past events to current global issues. Through targeted instruction and Regents-style practice, students will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to excel on the exam.
