About this program

This course introduces students to a variety of sports and activities, emphasizing physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students will learn the fundamental skills, rules, and strategies for sports such as soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and more. The course also incorporates lessons on safety, proper warm-ups, and injury prevention, ensuring students can participate confidently and effectively. By engaging in diverse activities, students will build their fitness, coordination, and communication skills, while developing a lifelong appreciation for staying active in nature.

Students will design and lead a mini sports event, choosing a sport or activity and organizing rules, teams, and strategies. They will present a written reflection on the planning process, lessons learned, and the importance of physical activity in their lives. This project showcases their leadership, organizational, and sportsmanship skills.
