About this program

This course uses the popular game Minecraft as a platform to teach engineering concepts, problem-solving, and creative design. Students will explore topics such as structural integrity, circuitry using Redstone, and sustainable building practices, applying real-world engineering principles in a virtual environment. Through individual and collaborative projects, participants will design and construct complex structures, machines, and systems while learning about teamwork, resource management, and spatial reasoning. The course emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills, offering a fun and engaging way to explore engineering and architecture.

Final Projects or Artifacts:

Final projects or artifacts

Students will design and build a functional engineering project within Minecraft, such as a Redstone-powered mechanism, a self-sustaining city, or a large-scale architectural structure. They will present their project with screenshots or a walkthrough video and a written explanation of their design process, engineering principles used, and challenges they overcame. This project will showcase their creativity and understanding of engineering concepts.
