About this program

This course is designed for students who want to enhance their skills and understanding of Overwatch, focusing on both individual gameplay and team dynamics. Participants will learn advanced hero mechanics, map strategies, team composition, and ultimate ability coordination. The course emphasizes the importance of communication, adaptability, and critical decision-making in fast-paced, competitive environments. Students will analyze professional matches, review their own gameplay, and practice strategies tailored to their preferred roles (tank, DPS, or support). By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in competitive Overwatch play and tournaments.

The final project can include: A Gameplay Highlight Reel – A recorded compilation showcasing mechanical skill, game awareness, and impactful plays across different roles. A Hero Guide – A detailed breakdown of a chosen hero, including abilities, optimal strategies, positioning, and counters. A Match Analysis Report – A review of a recorded game (personal or professional), identifying key decisions, strengths, and areas for improvement. A Team Composition Strategy Plan – A guide outlining effective team comps, role synergy, and map-based strategies.
