This course introduces students to the fundamentals and competitive strategies of Rocket League, a fast-paced game that combines soccer with vehicular mechanics. Students will develop core skills such as ball control, aerial mechanics, positioning, boost management, and rotations, while also learning advanced concepts like team spacing, defensive reads, and offensive pressure. The course emphasizes communication, teamwork, and decision-making, helping students understand how individual mechanics contribute to overall team success. Through structured drills, gameplay analysis, and competitive matches, students will build both confidence and skill in a dynamic esports environment.

The final project can include: A Gameplay Highlight Reel – A recorded compilation showcasing mechanics such as aerials, saves, passes, and goals. A Mechanics Training Plan – A personalized routine focused on improving key skills like dribbling, shooting, and aerial control. A Match Analysis Report – A breakdown of a recorded game (personal or professional), evaluating positioning, rotations, and decision-making. A Team Strategy Guide – A written or visual explanation of rotations, communication, and strategies for 2v2 or 3v3 play.
