Students will create a real estate project portfolio that includes a mock property listing, complete with photos, a market analysis, and a description highlighting key selling points. They will also prepare a financial plan outlining hypothetical purchase costs, financing details, and potential return on investment, showcasing their understanding of real estate fundamentals.

Program Requirements:

  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • Laptop 1 per student (ex: Chromebook; Lenovo)
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)

Program Description:

This course provides students with an introduction to the world of real estate, covering essential concepts such as property types, buying and selling processes, real estate investment, and the basics of property management. Students will explore topics like market analysis, financing options, and understanding property value, while also learning about the role of real estate agents and legal considerations in transactions. The course emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and research skills, helping students develop a foundational understanding of real estate as both a career path and an investment opportunity.
