This course prepares students for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification by introducing the foundational concepts of cloud computing and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Students will explore cloud architecture, virtualization, cloud security, storage, networking, pricing models, and core AWS services while learning how organizations use cloud technologies to build scalable and secure applications. Through interactive labs, real-world case studies, and certification-style practice activities, students will develop a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and the growing role of cloud technologies across nearly every industry.
The final project can include: A Cloud Architecture Proposal designing a cloud-based solution for a business or organization. A Cloud Services Portfolio explaining the purpose and use of major AWS services. A Cloud Cost and Security Analysis evaluating cloud deployment options and best practices. A Certification Readiness Portfolio including completed labs, practice assessments, and study plans.
