This course prepares students for the Adobe Certified Professional: Illustrator certification by introducing professional vector graphic design and illustration techniques. Students will learn vector drawing, logo design, typography, branding, digital illustration, icon creation, layout design, and infographic development while building technical proficiency with industry-standard design tools. Through hands-on projects and certification-aligned practice, students will strengthen their artistic creativity, visual communication skills, and design thinking while preparing for careers in graphic design, branding, and digital media.
The final project can include: A Brand Identity Package including logos, typography, and visual style guides. A Vector Illustration Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing and design skills. An Infographic or Marketing Design Project communicating information visually. A Certification Readiness Portfolio featuring completed Adobe certification practice activities.
