This course prepares students for the Adobe Certified Professional: Photoshop certification while developing industry-standard digital imaging and graphic design skills. Students will learn techniques including photo editing, image manipulation, selections, layers, masks, retouching, typography, color correction, compositing, and digital illustration. Through creative projects and certification-style exercises, students will build technical proficiency while exploring careers in graphic design, photography, advertising, digital marketing, and media production.
The final project can include: A Digital Design Portfolio showcasing original image editing and graphic design projects. A Marketing Campaign including promotional graphics for a product, event, or organization. A Photo Restoration or Composite Project demonstrating advanced editing techniques. A Certification Readiness Portfolio featuring completed Adobe practice projects and assessments.
