The final project can include: A Makeup Look Portfolio – A collection of before-and-after photos showcasing a variety of styles such as natural, glam, and themed looks, with descriptions of techniques used. A Skincare and Product Guide – A student-created reference explaining skin types, proper skincare routines, and recommended products for different needs. A Client Consultation Simulation – A mock interaction demonstrating how to assess client preferences, recommend styles, and explain product choices. A Beauty Industry Exploration Report – A research-based overview of careers in makeup artistry, including education pathways, certifications, and industry roles.

Program Description:

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of makeup application, skincare preparation, and cosmetic techniques, blending creativity with practical skills. Students will learn about skin types and tones, product selection, color theory, hygiene and sanitation practices, and application methods for everyday, natural, and creative looks. The course also explores industry trends, professional etiquette, and career pathways in beauty and cosmetology. Through guided practice and hands-on activities, students will develop confidence in enhancing features, expressing creativity, and maintaining safe and effective makeup routines.
