A Hair Care and Product Guide – A student-created manual detailing proper hair care routines for different hair types and the safe use of common styling products and tools. A Client Consultation Roleplay – A mock session demonstrating professional communication, style recommendations, and preparation for a service. A Cosmetology Career Path Reflection – A written report exploring the training, licensing, and job opportunities in hairdressing and related beauty fields.

Program Description:

This course provides students with a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of hairdressing, including hair care, styling techniques, and the science behind hair structure and health. The course introduces students to hair types and textures, product knowledge, client interaction, and emerging trends in the hair and beauty industry. Emphasizing both technique and creativity, this course is ideal for students interested in cosmetology, fashion, or personal care.
