Final Projects or Artifacts:

The final project can include: A Personalized Action Plan – A written reflection or checklist developed by each participant outlining strategies they plan to implement at home. A Resource Toolkit – A curated set of handouts, online tools, or community referrals tailored to the workshop’s focus area. A Group Discussion Summary – A recap of shared ideas or challenges discussed during the sessions, organized into common themes or insights. A Family Engagement Log – A self-recorded log of how participants applied strategies at home, highlighting impact or continued areas of need.

Program Requirements:

  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • Laptop 1 per student (ex: Chromebook; Lenovo)
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)

Program Description:

This workshop series is designed to support parents and guardians in their efforts to better engage with and guide their children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Each session is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the partnering school or program, with topics that may range from improving study habits and communication at home to supporting student mental health, digital safety, college readiness, or career planning. Through open discussion, expert-led instruction, and interactive activities, the workshops create a collaborative space where families can gain tools, resources, and strategies to reinforce student success and well-being both in and out of the classroom.
