The final project can include: A Skills Progression Log – A documented record of skill development with reflections and technique evaluations. A Team Strategy Presentation – A breakdown of offensive and defensive formations, roles, and communication tactics used in gameplay. A Video Skills Demonstration – A recorded demonstration of mastered fundamental techniques with analysis of form and effectiveness. A Personal Fitness Plan – A written plan to support volleyball performance through targeted strength, agility, and endurance training.

Program Description:

This course offers students a foundational understanding of volleyball rules, techniques, strategies, and teamwork, both in recreational and competitive contexts. Students will learn the core skills of the game, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and defensive positioning, while also exploring offensive and defensive team strategies. The course emphasizes sportsmanship, communication, physical fitness, and safe gameplay. Through drills, scrimmages, and guided practice, students will build confidence in their abilities and develop an appreciation for the fast-paced, cooperative nature of the sport.
