Final Projects or Artifacts:

Students will create a Psychology Research Portfolio, which includes: A case study analysis of a famous psychological experiment (e.g., Pavlov’s classical conditioning, Milgram’s obedience study, or the Stanford Prison Experiment). A self-reflection journal applying psychological concepts to personal experiences (e.g., understanding motivation, stress management, or cognitive biases). A research-based presentation on a psychological topic of interest, such as the impact of social media on mental health, the psychology of decision-making, or the neuroscience of emotions.

Program Requirements:

  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • Laptop 1 per student (ex: Chromebook; Lenovo)
  • Subject specific study guide
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)

Program Description:

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of psychology, exploring topics such as human behavior, cognition, emotions, personality, mental health, and social interactions. Students will examine major psychological theories, research methods, and real-world applications of psychological concepts. The course also covers topics like memory, learning, motivation, perception, and psychological disorders. Through discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities, students will develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of how psychology influences everyday life.
