Final Projects or Artifacts:

Students will create a Physics Mastery Portfolio, which includes: A visual model or digital simulation demonstrating a core physics concept (e.g., Newton’s Laws, conservation of energy, or circuit analysis). A lab report from a home experiment or virtual simulation, including hypothesis testing, data collection, and analysis. A research-based paper or presentation on the real-world applications of physics, such as space exploration, renewable energy, or the physics of sports.

Program Requirements:

  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • Laptop 1 per student (ex: Chromebook; Lenovo)
  • Subject specific study guide
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)

Program Description:

This course helps students develop a strong understanding of physics concepts through personalized instruction, problem-solving strategies, and real-world applications. Topics include motion, forces, energy, momentum, waves, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics. Students will learn to apply mathematical reasoning, analyze experimental data, and develop critical thinking skills to solve complex physics problems. The course also includes test-taking strategies for standardized exams such as AP Physics, Regents Physics, or other assessments, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving abilities.
