Students will create a multimedia cultural and linguistic project, such as a digital presentation or video, showcasing what they’ve learned. The project will include a brief dialogue or script in the foreign language, accompanied by cultural elements like a description of a traditional festival, food, or historical site related to the language. This project demonstrates their language skills and cultural understanding.

Program Requirements:

  • Instructor access to SmartBoard or Projector
  • General Stationary - Ex: Pencils paper pens
  • Access to Printer (for Instructor documents)
  • Bluetooth Speaker (for Music)
  • Flashcards (language-specific)

Program Description:

This course provides students with a foundational understanding of a foreign language and its associated culture, focusing on basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational phrases. Through interactive activities such as role-playing, games, and multimedia resources, students will develop essential skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course emphasizes cultural appreciation, introducing students to the traditions, customs, and history of the language's native speakers. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to engage in simple conversations and continue their language-learning journey.
