This course introduces students to the foundational principles and practices of yoga, focusing on physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and mindfulness. Students will learn to develop flexibility, strength, and balance through a variety of yoga poses while exploring techniques for stress relief and relaxation. The course emphasizes the connection between mind and body, promoting self-awareness, mental clarity, and overall well-being. Suitable for all skill levels, this course creates a supportive environment where students can build confidence and incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

Students will design and lead a short yoga sequence, tailored to their personal goals or a specific theme (e.g., relaxation, energy boosting). They will present a written guide or video of the sequence, including explanations of the poses, breathing techniques, and benefits. A reflective journal documenting their progress and insights gained from the practice will accompany the project.
